22/09/08 Kent Restricted Results Nine players from Orpington Juniors played in the Kent Junior Restricted, held at Folkestone sports centre, on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September, three of whom were girls and six were boys.

In the Under 11 Boys, Robert McNally dropped one game and therefore came runner-up as there was only one group of six players. He then won the doubles with his partner Rory Easton.

In the Under 13 Girls, Catherine McNally narrowly missed out on getting through her group as runner up, as three players won one game each but the count-back showed she scored fewer points.

In the Under 15 Boys, Matthew Harvey and Ben Andrews both got through their group, but Ben was knocked out in the quater-finals and Matt was knocked out in the semi-finals. In the doubles, Daniel Burke (and his partner Oliver Dickins) and Matthew Harvey (and his partner Russell Field) got through their groups but Bobby Brown (and his partner Thomas Purwar) got thourgh and went on to win the event.

In the Under 17 Girls, Clarissa Minty got through her group and the quarter-finals, but lost to Georgia Lee in the semi-finals, who went on to win the event. In the doubles Clarissa (and her partner Summer Lowe) won the event.
